Rocky Point - North Shore Oahu

Rocky Point

Fast, tubular rights and hollow lefts over shallow reef. This spot offers a shifting peak, and a quick down the line section with opportunities for pulling in. You will also encounter a determined crowd of some of the North Shore's hottest rippers all jockeying for that perfect wave. The beach is lined with photographers whenever the elements of sun and surf come together. Rockies is definitely a place for ripping and showing off your hot dog skills amongst the world's best. Go hard, or stay on the beach and watch!

Rocky Point is known for it's rippable waves. Local slashing.

This guy is doing the shortcut paddle out to right's, from in front of t he rock. He is waiting for a lull in the sets to paddle out.

John Severson: "In this crowded world the surfer can still seek and find the perfect day, the perfect wave, and be alone with the surf and his thoughts."
