Body Whomping at Sandy's
Went to Sandy's for some serious body-whomping - bodysurfing action. The trades have been blowing pretty good so it was a good 2-4 foot plus out there, enough to scare you a little on the sets.
This one wave caught me inside, so I curled up into the fetal position because it looked like the lip was gonna land on my head. The upspray whitewater explosion shot about a gallon of sand up my nose, I was sand-blasting it out for like half an hour. Well worth it though because I got like 20 barrels.

nice. i had a fun little body surf session this weekend as well. a little pulse from the south brought in some 2-4 foot sets with the occassional 5 on saturday. some solid barrells mixed in with a few closeouts on my head. water has been pretty warm for here, 70-72, and it was the first time i had trunked it in awhile. felt good.
