Small Kine Pipe
My friend Lance from Puerto Rico came up for his first ever surf in da country.
Paddled out at Shmall kine pipe, man was it fun. Just us out for most of the session with this other guy from Newport Cali. 2 hours of solid 2 occ 3, with one freakishly big 4 four foot set that had the Cali dude crapping his shorts. He even asked PRS (Puerto Rico Surfer) "how are we gonna get in man?!?!?" After the set passed said he had never been that scared in the water before (the cali guy) BWA-HAHAH!! Naw, that was a nice set out of nowhere. Unfortunaly for me I took a small one and was swimming for my board when it came.
It amazing how even small pipe has great power.....
Both of us got some tubes, extremely fun session for both of us. At the end the wind picked up really strong, I was getting sandblasted on the walk back to the car.

Lani's fun 3 foot
Just got back from California from a family hang out trip in Calaveras county.
So good to be back in the water after 3 weeks! The water felt extra warm too now that its summertime, almost bathtub-like, it kept the muscles nice and loose.
When I first pulled up the the lanis lot it looked filled, and the waves kind of crowded. So I drove and checked logs, half hour wasted. When I got back the lot was about half as full as it was before, so I paddled out.
Caught wave after wave, mostly lefts with a few long rights too. Head high on the set/. very fun session!
