Himilayas 6-8 with 10 foot sets

Himis in the afternoon with a few friends. 6-8 occ 10 foot sets. Mostly in the middle but some breaking outside, definbetly some chop on the faces sometimes... Only got 3 waves, but the first and last were pretty memorable. 1st was just a super late drop in the pit of a 7-8 footer which I made (just barely), then my last wave I got a little pit.

I took a pic before I paddled out:

Fun Ehukai Rights

Fun afternoon session at Ehukai. The rights were peeling down the beach 2-4 foot, realy fun when you got one.

My friend Dave moved here from Miami, bought a board, and moved to the North Shore after living in Waikiki for the summer. Ballsy! Still working on the smaller days, I managed to catch his best wave half way through...

Fun medium-small tow day

Towed an outside reef with a bit of wind on it. I was sceptical to tow today, but by the time we got there, set were coming in about 5-6 foot.
Just to clarify also, this spot would suck to paddle, the waves are too far apart where they break.....
My friend's son came with us, so he was sitting on the back while we towed. He fell off the ski at one point after I whipped his dad in. He's 13. DOve under a 6 footer no problem, but didn't want to ride any waves himeself...hewas taking pics, will post when I get them

Got about 4-5 good waves all the way through, DOH or close on takeoff(rope rlease?), tapering off all the way down. real long rights, legs were getting tired and rubbery near the end of the waves. Not the best wave in the world, but dammm fun

Bet country was real good before dark, heard jox was catching some good ones......
