Deep Wesside Glass
My friend Danny Pinzon is visiting from Miami, and staying at Makaha. We caught some fun waves right near there.
About waist to occ overhead, it was pretty inconsistent, and we were giving the three locals already out plenty of room to take the sets. They went in and we had it to ourslves for a a while.
They were filming "fear factor" a little bit down, these guys would parachute down and try and hit a little cirlcle in the water.
When we got there Danny asked if he should wear his booties, so we came up with our own fear factor: Make the haole paddle out to the deep wesside break with his booties on. We all chickened out on that one....and the lineup was mellow the whole time.
